I decided to stay with my family until either Monday night or Tuesday morning. I have to be back in Lutz/Tampa area before meeting up with my classmates on Tuesday evening.
I was hoping to brush up my Access skills and check on LMS software, but.....I think I'll only have time on Monday night or Tuesday day time to look at them since family time seem to keep me occupied.
A good news! I might be getting a different car sometime later this year! My youngest sister is going to Berkeley to live with my middle sister so she won't be needing her car. So I might be able to take her car (Intrepid 2004) and trade in my Altima 1999! ^____^ That will be one car off the list on our auto insurance. But it's not 100% for sure, so we'll see.
Another good news is that I'm getting a new laptop from my youngest sister. Here's what the story behind it went:
During her high school graduation ceremony, our dad happened to show up and gave our mom a laptop as a graduation gift (quite suspicious since our dad was never this nice and generous). To make a long story short, my family had the laptop "checked" on and it was clean. They don't know what to do with it other than selling it and then someone (either me, my sister, or mom) suggest that I should have the laptop and sell my current laptop instead. I checked the laptop and it looks pretty nice! It's a HP DV9000 series, 17" screen, built-in web cam, wireless LAN, 4 USB ports, WINDOWS VISTA, about 110 GB of storage, 1.73 GHz, Intel Core Duo processor, 1 GB of RAM, NVIDIA GeForce 7600, and there are some more stuff in it. My sister and her friend's dad (whose a computer technician) has researched this online and it seems to be either customized or discontinued. I don't have the whole info right now.
Of course, I have to "buy" it from my sister. The money will be transferred from my bank account to hers. I personally think it would be better that I do get this laptop since I can help my sister out with finances and I was looking for a better laptop anyways. It's definitely better than what I have right now, but is it worth it? Hmmm....
