Draco was half muttering, half dozing as Mia and him reached their room upstairs. Still itched horribly but the fever left him so tired and delirious that it didn't matter. He turned on his side on the floating carpet.

She'll let him sleep for now. She doesn't want to wake him up since it will be difficult for him to get rest.

Mia goes into the bathroom to run a bath for him in case he gets up, magically heated so the temperature will be controlled for a few hours.

"I'll get some dinner for you," she says, giving him a kiss on his brow.

He mumbled in his sleep as he laid there, and started to whimper. He curled up into himself from the nightmares hitting him.

Well, she was going to leave, but she didn't like that look on his face.

She gets his rememberizer and opens it so that a memory of Luna singing at their wedding is playing.

"I'll be back soon, darling. I won't be far. Call if you need anything."

She goes to quickly make his dinner.

Draco grew quieter after some minutes, and settled into a more relaxing sleep.

It's not long after that the smell of chicken and vegetables wafts up to their room.

"Here, I've brought your supper and a movie to watch."

A few, actually. She skipped past the horror genre, but picked up a comedy, a fantasy, and a martial arts movie.

"Are you awake, dear?"

There was a sleepy murmur from him, and his eyes opened marginally.

"Ahnhn?"

"You can sleep more if you want," she quietly says. "But there is food here for you and I brought some movies."

She sits next to him on the bed.

"I've also drawn a bath for you."

He yawned, and woke up a little more.

"So pretty," he smiled dazedly at her.

She blushes and says, "How is it that you can do that even when you're not in your right mind?"

She's not thinking about the time with the brownies.

After a moment, she says, "Come dear, a bath will help."

She moves to help him up and take him to the bath.

"But you areeee, so pretty-pretty-pretty Mia..." He burbled into her neck as he slumped against her, stumbling toward the bath.

She pats his hair and says, "And you're very handsome, love, even when you have spots all over you."

She helps him out of his clothes once he has a chance to sit down.

It was hard not to have the fabric of the clothes rub against his irritated skin as it was removed, and that set the rash itching again something fierce. He whimpered and furiously started scratching whatever he could reach.

She takes his hands and holds them away from him, close to her.

"Draco, scratching only makes it worse; you'll tear into your skin that way. Here, Miss Bar was able to give me some baking soda to put into your bath. It should make your skin feel better. All right?"

"But it itches!" He whined and scowled, wishing he could just take a potion instead to make it stop. But it was a strange disease, and dragon pox back in the wizarding world has eluded the efforts of Mediwizards in making an useful potion.

With grog snake sickness being much the same way.

"I know it does, sweetheart, trust me I do. But scratching it will hurt more. Besides, it will leave scars."

Hopefully his vanity will make him behave.

"The bath will help," she says, easing him in.

She hesitates for a moment before deciding that a kiss on the lips wouldn't be any worse than a kiss anywhere else.

She would've been infected by him long ago if she was going to get it at all.

He immediately stopped at that. Since scars were still something unusual for him.

He settled into the bath, and kissed her back with some relief. It'll likely help with his high temperature too.
