There was a lot of pink around, pink doves gently cooing. Lots of pink roses sprouted up like vines, and soft music playing. Also fairy lights that he got on special order from his world. The tables was not yet set, but it will be soon enough. And dinner was nearly ready. He even got some pink champagne for her.

He gets an initial gasp of surprise, but he's...probably not going to get the overall reaction that he was shooting for.

She doesn't really understand the occasion, a little foggy on when Valentine's Day actually is.

(Surely it can't be today, right?)

Her attention ends up going to the lights.

A moment's hesitation before she asks, "What are these?"

Draco just smiled, "Happy Valentine's Day, Mia. And hmm? Oh fairy lights, very popular decoration for parties in my world. The school had them for the Yule Ball even."

Mia didn't even hear the holiday greeting.

"Fairy light?" she asks, turning to him. "Real fairies?"

She's not mad just yet, but she is pretty upset already.

"But why?"

"Well, yes they're real. They're from my world. And they rather like it. They think they're very pretty too, and liked being stared and admired."
