"Such pretty creatures," she says, looking at them with a warmth enough to melt the winter chill.
"Draco had talked about bringing some to Vane," Mia says, gladly accepting her husband's support.
"Has he? Will they be adaptable to the change in location? And they will be fine with the family, right?"
"Mother, you're going to encourage him."
Not that Mia seems to mind this now, as her last statement was said with a light laugh.

"I'm sure we can work something out if we wish," Mia replies.
In the meantime, there's the matter at hand, as it won't be long before they've reached the Manor door.

He no sooner reached the door that it opened to Narcissa standing in the doorway. She immediately came forward to draw her arms around her son.
"Draco darling, it's been too long. How are you? Are you eating well?"
He rolled his eyes, "Yes Mother, it's mostly been my own cooking in fact, along with Mia." He then stepped back, "Mother I think you remember Lemia from the wedding? Mia's mum and the previous Guildmaster of Vane?"
