The carpet came around in front of the inn, and touched down. Draco moved to help support Mia to lead her down toward the inn. A simple spell would take care of levitating their belongings inside.

"All right there, luv? I'll get the door." But before he could do so, the innkeeper emerged to hold the door open for them.

"I'm fine, Beloved," she says, gladly accepting his help. "You did well flying the carpet."

The innkeeper nods them in, saying, "Majesty Mia, Master Draco, a pleasure to see you both again. It's been too long since you've visited Lann."

"Well, we needed a weekend away," Mia replies to him. "It won't be long before we can't take them the same way we can now."

It's at this point that the innkeeper does a proper doubletake and notices how Mia is showing.

"Why Majesty Mia, it's an honor to have you visit here while you're still able. We'll be sure to make you and Master Draco comfortable during your stay."

Draco beamed at that. Nice to be so warmly accepted, and he helped Mia inside.

"Still have a lot to prepare after all, you know how it is. Suite's just up this way isn't it?" He asked the innkeeper, who nodded in agreement and went ahead them.

"Oh yes, this way, and absolutely, Master Draco," the innkeeper responded as he led the way. "I'm a family man myself. It's a lot of work, but it's the best job I've ever had in my life."

He opened the door and showed them the suite.

"It's the most spacious suite we have, almost a small house. There's your bedroom, a nice little kitchen, a sitting area, your facilities, it's all here."

Draco waved the luggage in to set down in the bedroom before helping Mia inside.

"What do you think, Mia?"

"It's very lovely. I'm sure we'll be most comfortable for our time here."

She nods her thanks to the innkeeper, who gives a half bow and goes, "If there's anything you need, don't hesitate to ask. My wife and I will be making dinner for the guests tonight and you're more than welcome to join us."

"Oh, how generous!" Mia says. "We'll happily attend."

The innkeeper straightens up and says, "Thank you, Majesty Mia, Master Draco. I'll leave you to get comfortable, then."

With the innkeeper gone, Mia hugs Draco's arm and goes, "It's always nice, isn't it? Having a place just to ourselves. Like when we went to Lyton, or when we stayed at your parents' house before they arrived."

"It's perfect, here, why don't you sit down?" He lead her over to a chair to rest. He waved his hand to luggage so the contents could go flying out and be sorted and folded into the dresser drawers.

"Well, thank you, Beloved," she says, taking the seat he's led her to. "Though I should probably mention I'll likely need more help getting up than I do sitting down."

She carefully slides her shoes off, the same sandals he had gotten for her for her alumni recital afterparty outfit.

"Guess we're all settled in, now. What do you want to do?"

"Well we won't have to worry about dinner. Still early though. Feeling a bit peckish? Could certainly go for a snack and a spot of tea."

Mia raises an eyebrow at him and smiles.

"You're going to end up looking like me if you're not careful."

"Nonsense, only having a little." Draco huffed at that idea. He then glanced down at his own stomach. He's not going to pot, that can't be right. Even if it did seem slightly more than usual.

"Perhaps some sympathy weight?" she asks with a little laugh.

Draco gave a nervous laugh, "Of course not. What a silly idea."

Mia giggles again.

"If you say so."

She wiggles her toes a little.

"Not sure why I did that," she comments. "I can hardly see my feet. Do they look good?"

"They look lovely like the rest of you," Draco replied as he went to check out the kitchen area.

"They don't feel lovely," she says. "They mostly feel swollen."

Which might mean Draco's just saying that to say that. He'd likely faun over her as usual if he really noticed.

"No they're not." He immediately replied, and came closer. Draco then crouched down, and took her shoes off.

"Probably just a bit pinched." He idly rubbed the bottom of her feet.
