Some of the set up was similar to Mia's Guildmaster one. Which is what Draco was doing, still fiddling with grooming charms and how his robes looked. Also murmuring the lines he needed to say, and going over the proceedings.

Mia can't leave the Grand Hall right now, so Nall flies in. (Before he goes outside for flying demonstrations, of course.)

"Hey Draco! Excited about tonight?" he squeakily asks, hovering over his shoulder.

He was adjusting his cuffs, and turned to Nall.

"If by excited you mean nervous and almost sodden terrified, then yes I am," he remarked, and lowered his arms again.

"It'll be all over quick," Nall sagely says. "And then there will be fish at your reception. Right?"

Keep the dragon happy, Draco. He's doing a big favor for you.

"Going with a water theme, and I thought the chefs were well informed about the fish so of course there will be."

Lann seems to be getting their way with the shipping fees though, which means having to smooth over and work out deals with the other towns and cities.

"Just about ready, and yes, I know," He couldn't help snapping a bit. One more charm to fix a stray lock, and then he strode over toward the door.

Nall huffs and says, "Well fine, but keep up that attitude and I'm gonna see what Premiers taste like when I'm bigger."

"I wouldn't," Nall says. Then adds, "But I could," and punctuates this with a glare.

"I really don't need this now," Draco warily replied, and opened the door to head toward the hall.

"Because I found the months lacking in death threats to be so refreshing."
