Umm. Just dropping by to thank you for the lovely gifts. My first thought upon receiving it was -- oh goodness, this must have cost her a fortune for shipping, but the other part of me was all smiles and such. I'm actually lighting the candles in the kitchen right now to clear out the smell of cooking. But really, thank you for being so thoughtful!
ps. I hope your gift arrives soon, but knowing me, it will be late....wah.
It's a good thing that I kept my email notifications on LJ. Though, hanging around to comment during the winter season is making me feel all nostalgic.
Anyway, I'm glad the present arrived safely and that you liked all those random items I picked out. I mean, a book and some biscuits are dull components to a gift (and so generic for that matter), but there you have it.
As for the holiday; Christmas has been pretty quiet for me, but given several days off to relax, I'm not exactly complaining. How was your Christmas? Any parties, presents? You deserve a good break yourself so don't worry about responding to my letters right away.
Books and biscuits are not dull or generic! :P As a bookwork who loves food, they are as precious as gold. :D Seriously, thank you -- it shows that you know me, like the good friend you are. :) *Hugs

Yay! It arrived safely, though late as usual :0....but I'm glad you like the gift (and Squiggle has a friend). It's also good to hear that Christmas went well for you because, as cliche as this sounds, the quiet holidays with close family and friends are the best ones. Or at least, that's how I like to spend my Christmas, though I usually turn into bit of a sloth by New Years :p
Don't worry about the presents. I should be thanking you for always being there cheer me up and always going out of your way to send me gifts. Thank you. And I hope 2010 treats you well too in work and relationships and everything. Happy New Year :)!
