Wow! It's been a while since I have updated this journal! In case anyone out there remembers me how about I update you on what I've been up to in the last few years.

To begin with I got a boyfriend. We've been dating for 2 and 1/2 years and are very much in love. Sometimes I can't stand to be around us because we can get rather lovey dovey.

The boyfriend has two dogs, Josie and Daisy who are really cool dogs. Daisy is a black and tan lab mix and Josie is a blue-tick coonhound mix.

In my world, Gypsy, my service dog, needs to retire :-(. She has some problems with her knees and the vet tells me that it's in her best interests to slow it down as soon as possible. So Gypsy is no longer doing many of the things I need help with. We are managing but I need to find another service dog soon.

To that end I contacted Phoenix Assistance Dogs and they have preliminarily matched me with a young dog named Cooper. I'll be driving down to them on Wednesday to meet him and see if we might be a match. If you want to follow what happens with us check us out over at Service Dog Cooper

I'm about half way to a BA in mathematics education. I'll be attending Southern Connecticut State University in the fall. My parents are helping me out by allowing me to stay in their house while I complete my education which is very nice of them, but very stressful for me.

I'm still reading and enjoying fandom and fanfiction, though I'm trying to find some good Valdemar fanfic and so far no luck. FFN has very little of any quality. I've been writing a bit (HP/Valdemar cross over) but I've not put anything together of any worth. I'm fairly certain that I won't be doing much active in facfic so I understand if many of you choose to unfriend me.

In the future when I update it will be mostly about my journey to a new service dog.

Picture below the cut for those of you who want to see Gypsy and Cooper
