ER

For the first time in my life, I had to go to the ER this week.

At about 9 pm on Wednesday night started the worst ever urinary tract infection I've had. I mean it: within an hour or so, I was passing blood. I couldn't sit, let alone sleep. I tried doping myself with ibuprofen, then Tylenol (which you are so not supposed to do!!!), but nothing worked. After watching about 30 minutes of Ice Age, I gave up and called the Medical Help Line. The nurse told me to get this checked out within the next few hours, so at 1:30 am, off I went to the ER. The good part was that at that hour, there's not traffic!

3 hours later, I was given my first dose of antibiotic and I was home in bed by 5:30 am.

Which means I couldn't go to the interview I had on Thursday morning. Well, I could have, but I seriously doubt they would have hired me :) I called and the lady was really nice; she rescheduled and told me not to worry. So on Monday, I'll be at Queen's Park interviewing for a legislative translator position. I already did the 2 tests; it turns out they only have 8 candidates and they're hiring 3 people.
