Got my Spander paper back from Professor Johnson. A-, not bad. ^_^ He said "Kayne - I've attached an article on "Queer Theory" that you might find useful and interesting, especially in the light of your "queer" reading of the Xander/Spike dynamic. You might want to use this paper as your revised final with a focus on Xander's sexuality, as the flirtatious moments between Spike and Xander suggest a portrayal of male sexuality that offers a progressive alternative to the more rigid portrayals of male heroes as exclusively heterosexual."
Basically, he's feeding my addiction. Quite willingly, I might add. So now I've got to add in the "Queer Theory" article and the whole Faith/Xander ideal and how Xander is a pushy bottom. Well, maybe not that last part, but it will be implied. ^_^
