Some people are foolish.
Just had a lady come in to check into two rooms. When I printed out the Reg Sheet (the sheet you sign to acknowledge how much money you're going to pay) she immidiately began bitching about the difference in the room prices, how one was too high. As people piled in behind her she assumed that I'd lower the rate to something that didn't exist. Just to get her out. Well I looked at her Travel Agency sheet, and I agreed to change the room rates to the proper one, she left the door with a smile on her face not realising I had also corrected her other room to the proper rate. She's paying 10 dollars a night MORE than what she was previously.
Stupid bitch, wasting my time. It didn't even turn out like that because I was vendictive, it just happened because she was too busy trying to snipe us for pulling one over on her she didn't pay attention to what we were giving her.
On a side note, whoever made the reservations in the first place was smoking some fucking potent crack, because those reservations were all messed up.
I dont think anyone is paying the holiday rate today, except for the people who deserve better. It makes me sad that I'd get fired if I gave them a discount.
