Wow, long time no post!
Wow, I just looked at my last post and I haven't done anything here in over two years! XD
Can't say loads of shit's happened...well yes, shit has happened, I was in a car accident a few months ago and my car was totaled. But I walked away which is always what you want, but I had horrible whiplash for a while and it took a month to get the compensation check sorted out and buy another car. I now have 2005 Nissan Sentra and I'm very pleased with it, plus it's made out of metal, not fiberglass/plastic lol.
About a year ago we had to put down our wonderful old dog, Heidi. She was over 17 years old kept getting bladder infections and sores on her elbows from previous ones that caused the calluses to rupture. It wasn't fair to keep putting her through the stress of anti-biotics and trips to the vet, she didn't understand anymore and usually got very scared and upset whenever we had to load her into the car. It was hard even on the clinic staff, they'd known Heidi for almost as long was we did and were sad to see her go. Her ashes now reside on our mantle piece in a cedar box so she can keep watch over our home forever.
A few months later we got a new puppy! We rescued her from the pound, she'd only been there for one day and was in such a healthy condition that we concluded that she had to be signed over because her owner just couldn't keep her anymore, and boy are we glad of it! She's a wonderful dog, not Heidi, but no dog will ever be like Heidi, nothing can ever take her place. When Sadie, that's what we named her, first came home, she was three months old and twenty pounds, and now at a year old, she's fifty pounds! I'll do a separate journal about her later, it'll take up so much space that it would be dumb of me to do it here.
Moving on, my boyfriend and I celebrated our fourth anniversary a few weeks ago. Time flies huh? I can still remember our first one...we had to go to school and were teased by our classmates all day XD. At least I could say that my senior year in high school wasn't lonely like the majority of my time there. ^__^; For all of his flaws, he's still the love of my life and I can't imagine myself without him anymore.
Let's see...is there anything else important... I have a steady part-time job that I've had for nearly a year. It's only bad points are that I live in Reseda and it's located in North Hollywood XD which isn't the best considering today's gas prices...and I only work fifteen hours a week. The monthly pay isn't terrible, I just have to watch what I buy and make sure I put enough aside for insurance payments. Basically, I work a copy center technician at a middle school. I'm a printer...just like my dad was at my age, except I don't plan on staying one, still need to figure out my major and decide on a career path XD
