Internet Boycott
I owe you guys a real entry, but that will come next week.
I am officially boycotting the internet this weekend (Saturday and Sunday.) This is due to two things:
1)This weekend is the anniversary of the quake. I've already avoided news sites for the last week or so, but now stuff about it is creeping into a ton of other sites I read (this is what happens when my hobbies also involve Japan.) I dealt/am still dealing with my emotions about the event in my own way. I lived through it, and I don't really need to hear other people talk about it.
2)I've been kinda depressed recently (nothing too bad I promise), and thus have spent a lot of time obsessively checking twitter/facebook/email. Mostly this stems from being lonely, but I really can only solve that by hanging out with people here and going out, not staying cooped up with my computer.
I will only be using the internet to check email (3 times a day- seriously need to stop being obsessed) and as needed for homework. I'll still be accessible via phone/txt, but won't be checking facebook or twitter. After this evening, don't expect to see me around again till Monday.
