Ooops
Well I managed to stick my foot in my mouth again. During my interview with Peet's Coffee they had asked what was an important when working at a coffee shop. I said to educate customers on the real techniques, variety of taste, correct usage of coffee terms ect. and I also threw in the 'teaching customers what good coffee is really like and not what Starbucks serves' shpeal.
Yeah, so I looked up an article on Starbucks coffee today and found out that Starbucks had originally modled their stores and practice on Peet's Coffee. Starbucks also eventually bought out Peet's Coffee. So, yeah. I've been foiled again. *smacks forhead* Oops.
I've resisted working for 'The enemy' for so long and now I can't innocently apply to a coffee shop and not have it being secretly owned by Starbucks! I swear Starbucks is the Wal-mart of coffee. CURSE YOU STARBUCKS!!!! *waves fist in the air*
