Apparently I don't post much when I don't have much to say. I actually have rather a lot that I could spew onto my journal here, but I think I'm still internalizing a lot of it (mostly senior, graduation related stuff) for the time being. One remotely interesting development lately is that I've added another shift to my work schedule. Which is good. I'm feeling particularly destitute lately and snatching up all the spare shifts I can. Very much looking forward to tomorrow's paycheck. Anyway, my new shift is from 6-10, so it's a closing shift. All the way across campus, of course, but it's one of my regular labs and the walk is good for me. The only trouble with this is that I offered to take a coworkers' 3-8am shift for next Friday, since my midnight-3am shift in that lab makes it relatively convenient. Originally I'd had some notions about napping between class (at 4pm-ish) and work at midnight so as to get some sleep before pulling an 8-hour all-nighter shift. But now I have this evening closing shift. Oh well. I can still do it all, but I think I'll need to plan on lots of entertainment.
This week has been pretty uneventful. February in general has been pretty uneventful actually. Not that I'm complaining. I'm getting back into working out. Yesterday involved a spontanious trip to Denver and then back through Loveland (with further spontaneous trips to Chik-fil-a, Good Times, Panera Bread, On the Border (for that pitcher of margarita), followed by not quite so spontanious trips to PetsMart, Michaels, Hobby Lobby and Walmart (for those fishbowls)). It was silly fun. I didn't even miss any classes for it, since my Wednesdays pretty much end at 1pm.
The fishbowls, by the way, are for a party Friday. Any questions?
P.S. I had a dream last night that it was actually tonight and that I'd missed both my evening shift and my night/morning shift. It was a little terrifying. I have a phobia of missing work. And sometimes class.
