Abby looked behind them, and Claudia pushed Tommie forwards; he stumbled, and his dad caught and steadied him.

"Go!" Claudia yelled; the pelycosaurs were awake, and whether they werecarnivorous or herbivorous, they were still decidedly unhappy to be woken up.

"Not without you." Connor said, backing up towards the anomaly, holding handswith Abby and Tommie.

"I don't belong in your world, Connor." Claudia said.

"But we don't know if you'll be safe!" Abby exclaimed. Tommie looked up at Angel, who was circling overhead. Claudia glanced back at the irritated creatures. They were getting closer.

"We don't have time to discuss this, I guess." The woman said, before she stepped forwards, pushing the family of three through the anomaly with her.

They stumbled out the other side. They were in the middle of the Hub. Becker stood there, a look of shock on his face. An SF's finger hovered over the button on the anomaly locking device, as they emerged from the anomaly. Tommie grinned at the look on his best friend's dad's face.

"We're back from th' Permian!" The 15 year old announced cheekily. His dad chuckled, though his mum's laugh had a slightly hysterical edge ot it. Claudia peeked around Connor.

"Perhaps I should close it, before the pelycosaurs come through?" The time traveler suggested, brandishing her device. Matt raised an eyebrow, arms uncrossing in his surprise.

"Who's this?"

"Claudia Brown." The woman said plainly. "now, we're not sure if they're Dimetrodons or some sort of herbivore, but I think you'd rather not have  gigantic reptiles in the ARC at this moment, so.." Matt's eyes had widened at her name - he'd studied everything in preparation for his mission - but he inclined his head in a signal for her to proceed. Claudia tapped the screen again. The anomaly's shards shuddered, before it shrunk in size and closed in on itself, vanishing.

After the anomaly vanished, Becker turned on his heel to face the group.

"What happened?" Tommie winced, taking a step forwards.

"It's me fault. I got curious, an' went through th' anomaly. Mum an' Dad came through after me, 'n then it closed." He said, tone laden with guilt.

"Hey, it's alright, Tommie. We're back, an' you've learned your lesson, yeah?" Abby said, putting a hand on her son's shoulder. Connor nodded.

"Yeah, mate. Just never do tha' again, 'n we'll all be 'appy." Tommie nodded. Matt was sure there was more to it than just that, but Lester would want a report on the their side of the incident, so didn't press his friends and their son any further on that. He exchanged a glance with Becker, who nodded. Jess approached, her heels clicking on the floors; she stood next to her husband, and looked at Claudia.

"When you say 'Claudia Brown', do you mean...?" The woman nodded, smiling.

"I left my world behind to travel the anomalies." She explained. "I knew these three would be there at that moment, and in trouble." Claudia continued.

Becker still seemed suspicious, though the Temples, Jess, and Matt trusted her already. He crossed his arms, managing to look pretentious and dangerous at the same time.

"How do we know you're not like Helen? Or Helen herself, disguised?" The Captain demanded. Claudia rolled her eyes.

"I'm not psychotic, I just enjoy helping people who are lost in time." She paused. "Captain, I use my knowledge to help people."

Becker made a scoffing noise, but a sharp look from Jess had him shifting from his defensive pose and uncrossing his arms.

"Alright, fine." Claudia chuckled.

"I wouldn't mind staying for a little while, since a good meal isn't the easiest to come by." She said.

"Speaking of, I'm starvin'. Could I go get somethin' from th' break room?" Tommie asked. A sudden chirp from behind him made them all blink in surprise and turn to look. "Angel! What're you doin' 'ere?!" The young man exclaimed.

"You brought a pet." Becker stated dryly. Tommie whipped around to glare at him.

"Nuh-uh, she followed us through! I'm just as surprised to see 'er as you are!"

"Okay, alright. Look, Lester's gonan want reports, so you might 's well bring Angel ta th' Menagerie for now, you four'll get somethin' to eat, an' then we'll get the reports done 'n figure out wha' ta do with Angel." Matt said, moving between the soldier and teenager.

"Sounds like a good idea." Abby told her son. He seemed reluctant.
