Finally...I have an Internship!
I got a call yesterday with an official offer from Volpe! I'll be working in Cambridge starting August!!! Sadly, I was not able to negotiate a salary bump-up because the highest they start intern positions is as a grade 9 level, but salary is still pretty good and it's 1) only for a year anyways, and 2) only my internship. I'm just happy to have a place to be. Now I can take a deep breath and focus on my thesis and wedding plans. I'll be in Syracuse for a couple days this week trying to find possible reception sites and talk with St. Rose. We'll see what happens.
