What a week....
Finals earlier this week and the last kicked my ass- the stress of them along with the brutal anticipation of losing love for a while definately sapped me dry of energy. I did put all my energy into my schoolwork though and came out with great projects (and A grades) cause of it, which made half the stress worth it. But then, Amanda left town on sunday and that has just been taking it's toll ever since.
The following thursday night, I found out about my father. He was in a serious accident, the nature of which I don't really care to discuss.
He was admitted to lee memorial hospital on tuesday, sometime in the afternoon, on the pretext of head trauma. He's had open head (brain) surgery twice due to massive bleeding, and was for a while on a ventilator and in ICU. He's now taken himself off the ventilator. While his condition is stable, it's certainly not ideal. I am worried for him and want to see him, but dont know when i can visit. This week I am probably going to find myself driving down to florida to either yell at my father or try to make peace with him.
Anyway, i hope to stop in orlando and visit Amanda along the way. I just have to find friends to watch my dogs for like, 3 days.
If I do this, it'll be on monday/tuesday/wed/thursday I think.
