[Spyro could be found wandering through the town, book in his mouth, and looking around with a curious interest. it wasn't the first time he had traveled to other worlds, and definitely not the first time he's been into a village or town filled with humans -- or something resembling humans. only the ones in Luceti looked weird, at least in ( Read more... )

[ Er, watch out, Spyro. There's a rather severe-looking young woman staring and purposefully walking right towards you, and she's already putting her hand on the handle of the gunblade slung behind her. That's a monster if Lightning's ever seen one, and she doubts it's supposed to be in the middle of town. ]

he can't tell if she has a weapon yet, but this doesn't look good. maybe if he said something? either way, he's just going to leave the book for now and start backing up a few steps]

[ Give her a break- she's not used to conversing with the sort of thing she'd usually just turn into a stain on the forest floor and then be on her way.

Eh... but against all odds he does seem to be acting fairly harmless. She finally releases her weapon, but leaves the handle snapped up and ready to go as she sighs and puts a hand on her hip. While she's almost as new and holds no real loyalty to this place yet, old habits from being a 'security' soldier don't go down easy. ]

Okay... listen. Just stay out of trouble and read the book if you can. That should get you up to date pretty quick.

Sweet, that helps a lot. [and then he hears random voices again and starts, jerking back a bit. so it did come from the book.] Is it supposed to talk back to me like that?
