Dear LISA,
History will remember this week, and you will be able to say "I was there, making it happen."
Tomorrow, Monday, the California Senate and Assembly are expected to vote on the resolutions to overturn 8.
On Wednesday evening, the Eve of Justice, we will unite at statewide candlelight vigils to send a message to our fellow Californians. More information at EveofJustice.com and eqca.org .
On Thursday morning when our case is argued, witness history together live in San Francisco as the hearing is broadcast on the huge jumbotron in front of the California Supreme Court and City Hall or if you can't join us in person, watch live at eqca.org . Proceedings start at 9 a.m. More Information and other viewings >>
Show your support online. Join the online rally though Thursday to overturn 8.
The confluence of these events is, in no small part, the result of the dedication of so many people and organizations coming together to show a united front against the forces of intolerance who want to open the doors to discrimination. United. Together. We will achieve equality.
Thank you so much for everything you do in our fight.
In solidarity,
Geoff Kors
