*is amused*

As some know...I ordered three books from the new Pathfinder role playing to breathe new life into my D&D games. Not long after, I received notice that they were going to have to ship the Bestiary much later than originally projected. As things were...it would have been delivered a day or two before the  main RPG book. I agreed to get it late.
For the main RPG...I've been waiting very impatiently. I was delighted to find a notice that one of my books had shipped this morning. When I logged on and checked my Amazon account, I was surprised to find that the bestiary had shipped this morning.

It seems it's determined to be the first to the house despite the delayed shipping...!
Oh...and today's the full moon. Just in case any one needs to be warned!

Took Mom and Dennis to see 'The Vampire's Apprentice' yesterday. What a fun movie! And because of it...I now know that there is a book series upon which it is based. As is often the case. But since I enjoyed the movie so much...I may go and look for the books to see what they're about.

Had a most excellent time at the Halloween party last night. Got to visit with a number of folk that I hadn't seen in quite a long time. That was very pleasing. Ate much junk food.
Was amused when charybdis0 had to go to bed and pressed me into service running the zombie grinder. Am kind of sad that every one managed to survive so well...! I didn't get to kill off nearly as many people as the game demanded...! Though I was very amused by the WW2 Vet. character who would not die!
All in all...a most excellent day! Today...I go to do the usual thing with Mom, though she and I will be meeting up with my Brother later in the day to go see Zombieland. I'll finally be doing my part to spread the wonder of the movie!

Oooo...! Before I forget...
Heard from my real estate agent about what I would like to see fixed in the house before I buy. The seller (though surly about it) agree to fix the critical stuff that I asked for. Though I will be replacing the receptacles by the sinks with GFCI's myself. Was worth a try though. The only obstacle left is the VA inspection now! I'm very excited...!
