And so...I prove once again that I exist...
As many know (though not every one) I've been laid off for closing in on three weeks now. Terribly inconvenient.
On top of such things...my truck broke down little while ago with a bad radiator hose. No big deal I have the car, and can wait until the weather better supports the repair endeavor. Right?
Wrong.
Last night on my way home (thank goodness I didn't go to Silverdale with charybdis0 ) my car broke down. Timing belt I suspect. So...I spent today waiting for breaks in between torrents of rain to work on my truck. The simpler fix.
Of course...the hose in question took me an hour and a half (actual work time) to get out from under the beast. The new hose went in very nicely...but the hose clamp for the last section was not co-operative. That took me another forty minutes (made more bearable by some unfortunate language expressions).
But....the beast is now operational, and it's time to deal with the car.
The old expression "It never rains..." comes to mind once again. Hopefully...the timing belt is still under warranty.
Other than that, I've introduced my Girlfriend and her daughter to the wacky world of the gamer. And they liked it. I'll be running the next installment of that game on sunday afternoon.
I've also gotten quite a bit of reading done, and have watched many movies. Like sunday night danarchy84 and I watched the old movie Total Recall. Always nice to have good company.
