Dare I get excited? Down with Bush and the Neo-Cons!
Maybe it's foolish of me, but I'm getting really excited. The other day I saw an ad about the supreme court nomination and it was all like "the crazy republicans have the white house! Don't let them take the supreme court!" And I was like whoa but then I thought it was probably funded by planned parenthood and people like that trying to defend roe v wade, yeah? so no big deal. Just some of the language was exciting.
Then yesterday I watched the news and it was all like "look, the iraqis are showing us how a democracy is done!" and they had something like almost 80% voter turnout, hot damn! And then the news was all like "The Dems and some Republicans stalled the renewal of the patriot act because Bush and the NSA have been illegally eavesdropping on American conversations." Holy crap! And then the government was all like "Hey I guess we realized we shouldn't torture people." Even though Gonzales was like "don't worry, we'll find a loophole like always." Fucking scumbag.
Now today it's in all the fucking newspapers that Bush is a mean old man and he's fucking with everyone and the constitution. SWEET.
I probbaly shouldn't get excited. But I am.
