Rise of the Guardians
So, we went to see Rise of the Guardians tonight (yes, The Hobbit, I know, I'll be seeing it like five times, just after the rush is over and there aren't four zillion people in the theater ruining my experience with their bitchiness). RotG was really, really, really good. It had that blend of kid and adult humor, where the parents weren't left out of the fun. Really well done, and the plot had a few good twists to it. I'm happy that the trailer didn't tell the entire movie (aside from, well, heroes vs bad guy. Kind of obvious, but it was all in the details).
The animation, like most Dreamworks films, was amazing. The story was great and I liked all the good guys. Really, really well done. It'll be on my hard drive at some point, I'm sure =)
Now it's time to come down off of my requisite "No, no, turn there - THERE ARE MORE LIGHTS DOWN THAT STREET I CAN SEE THEM WE ARE TURNING NOW WHAT ARE YOU DOING I DON'T CARE IF IT'S A RED LIGHT THERE ARE CHRISTMASSSSSSSSS LIGHTSSSSSSSSSS OUR PRECIOUSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS."
*cough* Yeah. Otherwise known as my christmas light insanity. It's fun. LIGHTS, MORE LIGHTS JUST LIKE MORE COWBELL IT'S ALWAYS BETTER WITH MOOOOOOOOOORRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEE.
...At least we didn't get lost this time.
