Pandora's Star pissed me off, so much (mostly because of stylistic issues I had with the first 2/3rds of the book) but once I got past that, I was sold. Judas Unchained was AWESOME and the next trilogy was just an amazing read. Himself pretty much made me swear on a blood oath to read them, and I'm very happy I did.

I really struggled to get into Pandora's Star, until I realized I liked it. They're the bf's favorite series of all time and I eat books basically, so that's how I ended up reading them.
