Dark Thoughts.....
No point...must put down the broken crown...throw away the worn slippers that can only dance when it rains golden coins. This Cinderella will not be going to the ball. Fairy godmother is a materialistic bitch. The prince has fallen from his horse, crushed under the weight of the world he has been trying to hold up...drowning in his own despair. The mice are roaches, the pumpkin rotten and no magic can fix that. The servants have run away with all the silverware and the birds have gone mute. Happily ever after...no more. Taxes are due..outstretched hands...nothing to give....Broker is broke...the bank account drained. Look to the stars for answers...longing. Even the stars go out eventually and fall from the heavens. They burn bright for a time but then they fade out into non-existence. Look up at the sky...gaze at the stars...I want to burn bright like them....my inner light is fading as hope dies. The world is a stage an us merely players who play many roles in our lifetime. Walk up to the stage...eyes bright. Then the curtain falls....Nothing...gone...a day short...empty pockets and a head full of fading dreams...all dreams eventually die right?...Turn my back away from the stage...darkness...nothingness...overwhelming loss...lonliness....emptiness...and then nothing. Numb...cold...Where to now? Lost...drowning...dying.
Reach up...need a hand up. Only find hands out...demanding more of the nothing possessed....what to give when nothing left? Drowning hands reaching out for a hand up and a hand out. Hate....anger..disgust...The strongest rock will sink in water...down into the murky dark oblivion of self-loathing and hatred......Lookup to the hands that you pulled out from drowning.....nothing. Hand in hand...feet walk through sinking sand...2 side by side...desperately clinging...trying to hold each other up in sinking sand. Down....down...down...is there a bottom? How far must you go to get there? Savior needs saving but who can save the savior? He has fallen....grasping out for him beneath the sinking sands....can't find him....sinking deeper in my search....find nothing but the dark.....
