WOW......
It is amazing how things turn out. So we found an agency in Hickory who is going to put us to work doing little things in movies and we get paid plus the experience and oppourtunity to lead to bigger and better things. Thanks to Tonya we now have good directions to the place. She is great. Like a personal map quest...lol. Me, tony and mer sent our resumes in and I went last night to Pineville to get glamour shots done. OMG let me tell you. They charged us 355 dollars for 2 poses on disc b/c they said we have to buy the copy right. What a rip off. We had already came and put a deposit on it over the phone that was non-refundable so we went ahead and did it. The pictures were great but that much for 2 poses? Only two? that sucked. Then a freind of mine Julie, heard me bitching about it and told me her friend Kevin does photographs and he used to work for Glamour Shots and would do it for next to nothing. So I talked to him on the phone and he is awesome. He has his own website www.photodojo.com and his work is great. I talked to him for a long time at Channie and James Halloween party tonight and he said he would do our pictures all three of us and won't charge us an arm and a leg. Kevin is this big daddy-like black guy and he is sooo cool. He was dressed as Elvis at the party and did a little song for us. It was crazy, I m telling you. We were sitting around the fire and making smores, roasting marshmellows and shooting the crap. I did my little voo-doo dance around the fire and almost caught tony's coat on fire....lol. Now that would have been a site! I met Christine and Marky. Marky, Channie's sister and Danielle, Scott's girlfriend both are good at make up. Marky is almost done with her cosmotology classes and they said they would do our makeup for free. That was great. It is nice to have connections and know people...thank god for friends. I met a gamer, named Charlie who is going to come over and game with us. He kept hitting on mer. I had did her makeup goth and she looked sexy as hell and the guys were flocking and gawking. She went dressed up as Kat and tony went as Sepheroth. I met Nicci, who is an older lady and we have decided that her grandson and Destiny are going to be playmates so I will probably be going over there more often. Destiny has another little boyfriend...lol. She is so popular these days. I had to get home around 10pm b/c the kids needed to get in bed. When tony and mer finally came home I was pleasantly surprised by company. More gamers. Beuork, Jason and Megan are hardcore gamers who live nearby and they are going to come over and game with us. That is awesome. Im telling you, we have a little gaming community over here and it is great!!! Im loving every minute of it and the people Im meeting are great! D is definitely moving down next month which will be another gamer living with us to add to the pile. Wow. It seems like so many things are coming together. Im so happy. And tired from all the work Im doing to pursue my most recent fancy. Acting is alot of work but I have no doubt we will ge thtere b/c we are that determined. Of course that means we will eventually move to Calafornia. Interesting, since I have never been west and california is to fall into the sea...lol. Anyway Im off to bed. I have lots of homework to do tomorrow. Sometime I have to make a dentist appointment to get my teeth cleaned and fixed. I have 2 that are hurting, one that is loose and enough covities to to keep my head spinning. So much to do, so little time. I need to clean...again. Its amazing how dirty a house can get with people constantly going in and out. Anyway goodnight everyone and I hope things are as good for you as they are for me at the moment. BTW our car was fixed, it was just the spark plugs. That is why Im not a mechanic. Love to all.
