Operation Dragonfly

I heard a weird noise in the kitchen and went to investigate. There was a beautiful blue, HUGE (size of my hand) Dragonfly beating against the window, trapped. I felt terrible for it so I put on an oven mitt and grabbed it by the tail and let it out the window. It's a good thing I had the mitt on as it chomped down when I grabbed it. They bite and this was a big one.
I didn't think it would get out on its own as they only go forward.
It was Beautiful.
