I just accepted a job at the Espresso Bar at Nordstrom at Somerset. And there is a very high probability that I can transfer to Partridge Creek when it opens. Plus I will be working with Eric (from Royal Oak Caribou) and Stef, my last manager at Mack. Oh yeah, they pay more for a regular employee than I was making as a supervisor.
I originally applied at Caribou in desperation, not being able to get a job in my field for quite a while. Now,I have learned a whole lot about the coffee business and food service and administrative duties and it has become my second career. Funny how things work out, I really like the work and the atmosphere and the people. Job satisfaction is a good thing.
