Luna the Peke

My brother's wife was killed in a car accident in Winslow, AZ on Thursday, September 20th. In her car was her dog, Luna, a female black pekingese. When the emergency personnel arrived, we were told that they saw Luna but she ran away at every attempt to rescue her. We think she was probably very scared.
I know that a couple of days have passed, but I remain hopeful that we might be able to bring Luna home.
