Ramble away. We all have a need to ramble. My friends have problems getting to talk around me because I often hog the talk. Comes from having over fifty years of memories and quirks. Bring up a subject and I will usually have a story about it. Shoot me. I just old and have lived a strange life. I tend to have a sarcastic style of humor that not everyone gets. I go for the laugh most of the time. I do get profound off and on. Just don't always expect it of me. LOL.

Rambling and ranting and oh, sarcasm.. I love sarcasm. Hubby says it doesn't become me. He can go jump. =D
I worked for a year with a master of irony and sarcasm, and loved it!!!

My ex claimed I didn't have a sense of humor. See thing was he didn't like my sense of humor. It cut to close to the truth. He did not like to be called out.

I found once we divorced others did enjoy my humor. I love shocking people. Mostly guys who think I am just a sweet little grey haired lady. Little do they know. My best friend's mom and sister are sweet and lovely. I was the first woman he ever heard say a cuss word. I don't cuss much,but my blood sugar drops and off I go. I brain stop working when my blood sugar drops.

I cuss a lot.. But should be careful cuz my 4yo might pick up stuff soon.. *shudders*

My dad cussed like crazy. So growing up I just thought it was normal. In high school I was shy so never cussed. Friend would tease me trying to get me to cuss. I remember my mom was such a sweet woman who never said boo to anyone. I was an adult when I realized she did cuss, but I just thought it was one of those Southern sayings that really didn't mean much. When something upset her she would say "Shit fire and save matches". Southerns have lots of sayings that are just part of the local talk. Sort of like "Bloody Hell". We say things like "Butter wouldn't melt in her mouth" which means the person was never got upset and was always in control. Silly things like "They think they are so good they shit in high cotton". Which means they think they are too good for others. I told you I ramble and have way too many stories to tell on just about anything.

I like those!! My grandma says something that translate as 'go shit in the vine and piss in the river'.. *giggles*

Never heard that one. I have a friend from Canada who loves to hear me talk. First because of my accent. Second because of the off the wall sayings.

So you think I should do a post about stuff like this? Would anyone be interested reading it?

I know it seems unbelievable, but I am shy as all get out. It took Mabel a couple of months to get me to post the drabbles. She kept sending me emails cyber yelling at me. I am horrible about putting things off. I will think about it and finally do it, but it takes me time. I know it is silly. I have gotten burned online when posting on some sites. I got enough of mocking and being told I was not worthy by my ex-husband. Mabel to me to go to her friend list and add people. I have met some really nice people. On Elysian Fields and Spuffy Realm I don't have any work posted so I haven't been doing the chat either. More of a lurker.

I have no fics posted anywhere cos I don't write (apart from my *lame* attempt on my LJ - well I think it's pathetic but people went all glowy with the reviews) and I chat with all the people who write what I've been reading for over 18 months.. dawnofme put me onto the cbox at SR so I then started reading there. But I read mainly at EF. =D
