Fun SCA Moments
This was probably my favorite SCA moment. Their Excellencies double crossed my husband and I last year. I did a scroll for him to receive a Cero e Luce, and they asked him to make one for me to receive mine. When Bethany brought a candle toward us during court, he was sure they were giving it to me (for good reason, as they told him they were doing mine that night). He nearly died of shock when she gave the candle to him. He was shaking his head "no," and she was grinning and nodding and thrusting it into his hands.
