On Thursday morning we set out in search of Kayaks. One of the things that Brandi wanted to do while in Hawaii was to kayak out to this sunken island off the north shore. On Wednesday we kind of took it easy. Brandi and I decided we wanted a girls shopping day so we went back to the swap meet and walked the entire thing. The Guys went to see the Mossouri memorial and then we met up for lunch. On Tuesday we had arranged to go diving. We had requested to dive a wreck which was a fighter plane. Unfortunetly, the wind was so bad which made the seas very choppy so we didn't do that dive. The dives we did were shallow and there was very little to see. This is the first time I've been on a dive where I got sea sick under the water. Since ( Read more... )

On Monday we drove up to the Dole Plantation, which was alright... Dan was a little disappointed because apparently you used to be able to tour through the cannery. They don't do that anymore. There was a beautiful Hibiscus garden there and we were able to plant our own pineapples. The best thing about the plantation was the hedge maze. It was ( Read more... )

On Saturdays, Sundays and Wednesdays there is a Swap Meet at the Aloha Stadium at which there are vendors set up which circles the whole stadium. The 4 of us went to the swap meet and was amazed by the size of it all. Brandi and I found some cute Hawaiian tops, dresses and bathing suit coverups. I had planned to post while we were in Hawaii and post a few pictures but the internet access was nil and the little bit of time we spent online it was just to check mail.
