Letter from Camp
Dear Mom and Dad,
I am having a great time at camp! I'm in a *squishy* tent with *17* other campers. My favorite meal is *lion* because it's really *fat*! We go *human*-back riding every day (lol). Our counselor showed us how to make *furry* *boys* out of used *toys*. Tomorrow we are hiking through *Greensburg*, and whoever brings back the biggest *nail* will get an extra *book* for dinner. Send me some *dirty* underwear and lots of *pizza*.
Your *gorgeous* kid,
Jade
That one turned out perfectly, lol!
Yestreday, in chemistry we got back our tests... and guess who got the only 100%?!? Yeah, I know... I'm a stoichiometry genious.
Anyways, today Stephanie and I went out to lunch. It was fun cuz we went to Kwan Court and ate sushi! I've never really known how to order sushi, but Tiffany's really smart so she knew exactly what to get.
Then, we went to Northrock and bowled. Stephanie had picked up a bunch of those free bowling coupons at Dip and Dots so we only had to pay for the shoes. The guy was out of 9s for the shoes, so he gave me 8s... and they fit! I was so surprised. I normally don't play well at all (like 75 average), but today I got a 115... which is like better than I've done in years! Stephanie got like strike after strike, so we decided her alter ego must have special bowling powers.
After bowling, we went to the arcade to look for DDR. They didn't have any, but I saw one of those machines with the coins that fall. David's supposed to be really good at those, so I thought I'd try. This machine was a little different and if you got the coin in this hole in the middle then you could get a bonus number of tickets. I put in my coin, and omg, 97 tickets came out. Unfortunately, I'm destined to be a terrible addict as an adult, so I had to go to a bunch of other jackpot machines after that. I spent $5 and won 301 tickets; it was so awesome! I got a yo-yo and a lion piggy bank and an eraser! Exciting, I know!
Then we went to Coldstone and got ice cream which was que deliciosa! That was where we made the list of things we hafta do this summer:
-Breakfast in PJs
-WWW (w/Nisha & Dana)
-Rock River Rapids
-Winfield lake
-Newton Outlet
-Hutch Cosmosphere
-KC overnight
-Crown Uptown Theatre
-Kidnap *ahem*
-Picnic in Andover
-Fireworks 4th of July Weekend
-HP midnite movie showing
-HP book party
I actually think I like just hanging out for the summer. It's sort of refreshing and fun!
