I think that in the cases of friends, tests, and boys maybe ignorance is bliss. Maybe it's better to just believe that you have friends than to know that people you trust actually may not be as loyal and as nice as you may want to believe. Maybe it's just better to pretend you didn't bomb a test than to have the scores to confirm you did. Maybe, just maybe, it's better to just believe that guys are complete idiots and have no idea what they're doing than to find out that maybe their intentions aren't as harmless as you thought they were. Yep, I think it's better to just be completely unaware. Let's just pretend everything's nice and happy, don't you think?
