Looking forward, looking back
Let's see, where am I at? I ran the 12k, managed to run the whole thing, very proud of that. Work is crazy as usual. Trying to balance my existing job against a bunch of new opportunities is really taxing my abilities. At some point I'm going to need to start saying no to someone, because at some point my work is going to start suffering. But only 2 weeks until I get to spend some time in Florida! and only 3 and a half until my faculty exchange in ABQ! I hope that being in a different environment this summer will help recharge my batteries. Plus I'll get to see lizards again, something I've missed quite a bit up here in the frozen north. Although the frozen north has been really embracing the idea of spring recently. Everyone here has a massive case of allergies. I don't usually suffer much from allergies, but even I find myself sneezing quite a bit and rubbing my sore cheekbones. Hopefully soon the state will stop flooding and the pollen will come under control and then maybe I'll hit a couple of trails before I head out west.
