Full steam ahead
Wow...Im off and running.
My graphic design class started this morning. Its going to be way intense. Its a hybrid of in-class and online courses with projects as well. 2 days a week in the classroom, 6 hours online, and occasional lab work fridays.
Rehearsal for JOSEPH are cruisin along. I basically live there on the weekends as Ive been appointed to do a ton of art work--mostly detail stuff no one else has the patience of ability to do.
For the show, this week I have
-Designed and ''Egyptian fleur de lis''--as my director called it--really an Egyptian hieroglyph of a lotus
-drew and constructed a goat --complete with bare ribcage-out of plywood
-decorated the risers with over 100 gold and blue lotuses of my design
-painted a double sided HUGEASS sign which will be placed out in front of the school distracting drivers with its neon letters, and hopefully drawing in people to the boxoffice to give us their moneys. mwahahah
-Painted a Sphinx's head-dress---measuring about 12 feet tall and 15 wide!---thats a lota paint folks!
-aaaaaand of course been going to the gym either super duper early or late.... working 9-6....rehearsing 6:30-10....and now have class and homework
IM PUMPED
seriously though, none of this is a complaint. I love being busy, especially with artsy stuff. And work requires me to be organized and orderly...and actually forces me to sit for a few minutes.
