So my computer melted in a freak heater accident yesterday. I had set it on top of the heater in the staff lounge, and someone turned the heater on. My computer then melted. The entire bottom of it.
I let it cool for a few hours, then grabbed the fire extinguisher and turned the computer on. SUCCESS! My hard drive was not destoyed! However, the fan now makes a horrible high pitched whirring noise. I am afraid to leave it on for any extended amount of time in case it overheats and melts some more. Also, I can no longer remove the battery nor open the CD drive.
On an unrelated note, I will more than likely be in Tallahassee on Monday night.
