Happy Birthday Duckytears!!!
Just got back from a night over at Sechelt. I ended up spending it keeping my 4 year old cousin Kye. He's so full of life he never stops! Apparently he's been going over to "greatgramma's" house for weeks to see if I was there yet. He spent most of the day with us and only left when we had to have dinner.
His mother Monica is having some major problems. Her mother is dying from cancer and up until this point has been refusing treatment, but thanks to a little plan that my aunt Susan came up with she has finally agreed to seek help. It's too late to save her life, but they can help her live longer. She's the same age as my mother.
This coming weekend (the 19, 20, 21st) my father is planning to get all the wall and floors up and all the windows and doors cut on the extension. All in two to three days! Not to mention that the 20th is my parents anniversary and the 21st is my mother's birhtday! I think that my father choose this weekend because my mother and I are going to stay in a hotel in Vancouver to celebrate her birthday. If she was at home she would be freaking out watching "the lads" working on the house. (And I sure as hell don't want to be around when the fan clubs around! aka "the lads")
