(no subject)
Formal! oh my lovely LOVELY formal.
set-up started off with me DROPPING A TABLE ON MY FEET. the right one cut and swelled to about the size of montana, and so i taped a bag of ice to it and then trudged on with set-up. then willie came over and we got ready, and gorgeousified ourselves. willie is a nail goddess. then christian (looking very charming) picked us up and we went to go pick up matthew (also looking very charming) and we were off to red robin! we met sam and solanah there, ellery and sean weren't there yet, and decided that it was too full and off we went to ihop. ihop=too much fun.
so we're at ihop and then sean is a crazy leprechaun and scares the hell out of us by jumping over the bushes and slamming into the window. we somehow lost ellery. :( the boys had a 'how much coffee can you drink?' contest, and all of them were wired by the end of it. then we got to the dance around 8:30 and danced to our heart's content. i liked the music this year, it went a lot better than we had expected. BUT...
WHERE WAS MY SHAKIRA?
oooooh well. i had a fabulous night. i was SO dead afterwards. i couldn't walk, first of all, and i was soooo exhausted. went to bed, woke up this morning for church, to discover i can't really walk...so went back to bed and got up around 1:30. mmm...it was wonderful. definitely not going to tango class today.
