Honey, I'm home!

Yes, you heard right. I'm home. I survived the two and a half hour drives to and from Oklahoma City. I managed to navigate through that crazy OKC traffic. I also lived through new student orientation. Do you want to know how? Of course you do! I didn't have to do much. I arrived at nine, listened to some speeches, ate lunch, talked to some current music students, checked on my financial aid and housing situation, and then left. Don't get me wrong, it was wonderful to be on campus and everything. I just felt like it was almost a waste of the advisors' time that I was there. It was nice to meet some of my fellow musicians though. All in all, it was a very productive (and long) day.

I only have one complaint: I still have no clue who my suite mates are. I have four people that I will be living with. I want to know! I also want to know if I'm in a two or three room dorm. Oh well. My advisor said we should know in a couple of weeks.

The only weird part of the day was that I asked who my vocal teacher is going to be. I'm pretty sure she said "Richardson," but there is no Richardson listed under vocal teachers. Oh well. I'll just email her or get a hearing aid or something.

Anyway, I'm off to bed. I have to keep myself looking tragically beautiful.
