BLINK ME!!!
went to the blink, fall out boy, panic and chester french (whoever they are) concert saturday at tinley park. IT…WAS…AMAZING!!! :D smickens picked me up after i went to get lunch with michelle and stopped at brookhaven to get some beer and met up with mark (her bro) then back to her place so she could change her feet. then on our way to marks we decided to stop at the tropical sno which is a sno cone stand on archer by the coffee house and there was a hearse show there! it was weird like a classic car show of hearses i didnt know there was such a thing and there was like halloween decorations and all plus it was like a club! took pic. added some fruit punch flavored powerade to my sno cone which made it even more awesome.
got to marks and found out he was going to be late since he wasnt even at mirandas yet then we decided that we should probably eat before we go so we went to zaca tacos near pulaski which apparently is only a south side thing but they were sooooo GOOD! authentic tacos to the max even though i got the american ones since i hate cilantro and not a fan of le onions either. on our way there we saw this huge penguin with a crazy eye and stethescope XD apparently it was for some computer repair place? 0_o got a pic of that as well. also saw this awesome lawn sprinkler that was a dog and the hose goes in the tail end and it sprays all around like the dogs tail is doing it XP then we ate as mark and miranda got there and on our way there we saw a clown and someone dressed as a bumble bee XP we didnt even get there till after 730 we missed panic but we were in time for FOB just as they were starting even though parking was insane! were like we dont need VIP parking its only 10 more feet yeah no we were totally wrong we were like 3 rows away from the super tall grass. shouldve paid the 30 bucks for VIP parking >_>
we finally get in and jon and cath have to pee and mark and jay went to get beer so me and miranda went to claim a spot on the lawn which was packed to the max! it was sold out and there was 30,000 people there! insanity i tell you! but yeah. FOB was good but no one was waiting for a encore even in the home town *shrugs* probably because they said F the bears. who says that about the home team??? unless they really do suck but there are extreme die hard fans for the bears all over IL too. then jon went to get a bear and totally power walked right by us and then cath went to go find him and get a beer too but then we like lot her for a good half hr turns out she found bizarro versions of jay mark and miranda LOL and was like a finally found you! nope. of course she didnt have her phone either naturally cause it was in the van >_* then jay was kinda puking and such from the beer but he was having a hell of a time dancing and everything. then we moved to the middle during blink it was awesome they had a few mulligans and whatnot forgetting lyrics but its been so long since theyve sang some of the stuff you know. mark ended up spilling his beer on this pants dancing like jay which made it totally look like he wet is pants XP
then we lost jon and didnt find him till we left the the gates intot teh parking lot trying to find the van for a good fucking hour. which we though mark and jay went to go find it and then we found some ppl tailgating with beer and shots which then i found jon and theyre like thats not him and im like its totally him and im like joonnn!!! and hes like calling back fuuuur!!!! which its caths nick name and im like joonnn!!! i win! and we hugged and such he was totally drunk and he lost his phone trying to call us cause some guy hit it out of his hand and luckily someone picked it up and called mark so mark got the phone and then we went to go find mark. so we found out that mark wasnt with jay at all and jays the last person we went to loose esp since he didnt have a cell on him either. but then i see some dude get up on a van and im like is that jay??? theyre like no no its not him and im like its totally him so i start running toward the van and im like jay get down! and i get there and hes found the van and im like you found the van!!! guys he found the van!!! so then miranda has to pee real bad and she and mark were just going to go in the grassy area but then security told them they couldnt. so then we were arguing about that and cath had to pee too so she finally just went to go pee over in the grassy area too. i had to dive home of course cause i was the sober one and didnt want to pay 9.50 for nasty beer. then we waited about another 45 mins just to start moving out from the lot there was sooo man ppl just lost looking for cars like us and trying to leave the lot. but it was a hot hot time! :D
