hockey talk
so after work yesterday i went to jers hockey game and this random little boy comes up to me and asks where my husband is XD mind you i was wearing headphones and watching the game too when he said this. jer saw him and he was chortling to himself thinking how cute. i dont even know this kids name. they ended up winning 9-1 :D and he played an extra period for another team. then jer made me home made fries/chips along with some salsbury steaks.
me: i dont have a husband but my boyfriend is in the net
boy: do you have a daughter?
me: um no
boy: so you have a son?
me: nope i dont have any kids
boy: how old are you?
me: how old do you think i am?
boy: 20
me: im older than that
boy: 23?
me: a little older
boy: 24?
me: yup
boy: wheres your husband?
me: i dont have one but maybe he will be one day just not now
boy: is that your bf or is he? *points at other goalie
me: the one over there on the winning team we just scored another goal
boy: how long are the games?
me: well i think each period is 15 mins
boy: how many quarters are there?
me: 3 (theres no quarters in hockey but ill humor him)
there was a bunch of other random hockey questions but i won go into that.
hawks won after a long stand off of 0-0 then 1-0 chunucks then hawks scored one in the last minute! and scored the game winning goal 2-1 in overtime! WOOT! WOOT! then detroit won against the ducks too so all of jers teams won.
thought i lost my work hat but it turned out to be in jers car for some reason and im sure i didnt put it there >_>
