Computer is fucked. No idea when or if I'll be able to get it fixed. I guess if it can't be fixed I'll have Mom order me a new one. I currently hate everything and miss you all, but am vaguely alive.
It's been freezing and crashing for weeks now but I was hoping it would hold out until Christmas or something, but it finally crashed and won't turn anymore. I'm going to see if the warranty still works and send it in if so, or take it to a repair shop if not. If it can't be fixed, I'll have to buy a new one. So this is prooobably gonna take a while :(

Hopefully you'll be able to take care of it soon! I assume you don't still have that desktop at your apartment that you took there when your laptop went on its world tour? I'm sure that's a super obvious solution, but I thought it was worth asking about. Have you consulted the John Sheppard Book of Computer Repair? ;)

Yeeeah, that desktop is long back at my parents. Mom offered me her laptop, but I would have to go get it and bring it back in two weeks, so I'd be looking at 90 bucks in train fare, plus they're not even at home this weekend. So I'm hoping I can just send it in and get it back in a week or so.
You are so delightful and helpful, you don't even know. ;) If only I had icon space, I could use some appropriate icons in return.
