My hockey team is running two playoff pools as a fundraiser for next year. The first is a box draft (you pick one player from each set) and the second is a bracket draft (you pick the winner of each series and the number of games it will take).
Each entry is $10 and the winner takes 50% of the pot (50% goes to the team). You can enter either one pool or both, and you can enter as many times as you want.
The great thing about the NHL playoffs is their unpredictability - someone who thinks they have a ton of hockey knowledge and someone who has none at all, really, have the same type of chances at success.
I would really, really appreciate it if anyone wants to participate. I can send you the forms via email and we can work out payment if you're not in town (ie. most of you).
This is a great chance to help out women's hockey, as well as being a great chance to win a solid prize.
