So how about that one-journal-entry-a-month thing?
Recall my March goals:
- Finish Mandy's sweater. This will be Eris.
It's still damp because it's being blocked, so no modeled photos yet.
It's the pullover version, size C. It took about 10½ balls of KnitPicks Andean Silk in Leaf. No modifications. If I were to make it again, I'd do a provisional cast-on at the back of the collar; I think having the two halves be a half-stitch off would be less noticeable than the seam.
- Swatching and photography for article.
I have photos that will work. They aren't outstanding, but they'll work. And since I am a terrible photographer, I think it will take a lot of work to get better ones. So, this will stand as done, unless I find myself with ridiculous amounts of free time.
I wanted to revise the corresponding article. Unfortunately, my computer died. So it's mostly done; it needs a little revising; I'll try to get to that this month.
April goals:
- Sweater for Ed. I'm not sure quite what this will be. Something also green and also with cables. I may just go with a raglan sweater with a few cables thrown on it; it won't be the first time.
- Very small teddy bear. I do have 1.5mm needles, and laceweight alpaca, lying about. I also ordered some smaller needles from Lacis, so I might use those instead.
- Socks!
