A Little Update
JAMES BLUNT'S NEW ALBUM HAS COME OUT TODAY!
Whew, calming down. :p I just love when a favorite artist releases a new album. And All the Lost Souls sounds very lovely so far imo. He really has embraced his softer side on this album and the songwriting has definitely grown compared to Back to Bedlam. I recommend this album he does not disappoint.
Not so much is going on in my life, just school work and lots of it. But thank god for a planner so I can sort out some free time to read or of course listen to music without neglecting my work.
In celeb news- I did pretty well in predicting the VMA's, for they are so damn predictable. One or two people won that I didn't expect but other than that no surprises- except for good ole Spears who opened up the VMAs on a seriously lacking performance. Britney Spears was very embarrassing at the VMAs. If that was her comeback then she is in trouble. Imo they should stick a fork in her because seriously- she's done. And to think I used to dance to her lol in front of my mirror as a kid lol...sad. I also used to be in love with Nick Carter though and look how sleazy he is these days. :/
And note to Kayne West- Stfu please. Aw you didn't win anything at the VMAs, doesn't mean you go backstage and throw a little tantrum (which he did, shouting that he would never work with MTV again) What a prick I really can't stand him- and his music is not that great.
Also in celeb news (since I love it :))Tori Amos once again was commenting on female pop stars. Ugh. Seriously making one comment on a young star is fine Tori but continuing on about more than one just doesn't do good things for your image. She has better things to think about, unlike myself lol.
Oh yeah speaking of legendary female singers I did a speech Monday about Cyndi Lauper who I consider one of my biggest role models and half the kids appeared not even to know her. That is sad, for she is an amazing artist. Hat Full of Stars is her best work I love, love, love that album. How can people not know her?! Phew done venting...for now.
I think I'm starting to love trashy romance novels btw lol...idk when you're in the library, waiting for your next class to start, it's fun to read crap like that. The cheesy dialogue, the perfect bodies of the man and woman and overall the incredibly simple plots are hilarious and do pass time.
