"I'd be happy to answer any questions you have for me, oh adorable one," she grins teasingly.

He wrinkles his nose at her. "All right. One: Were you shocked to see me? Two: How'd you meet Dad? Three: Would I be cuter with a stuffed sheep?" He winks. "Four: Do you know who those two men were? The ones Dad was so angry at. He won't tell me. Five: Could I buy a childhood friend a drink?" Sam grins. "I feel like I should have my charge book out. Where were you two nights ago?" He glares theatrically.

She laughs. "No, I wasn't really surprised to see you at all. I don't experience time in a linear fashion so these things rarely upset me. As for meeting your father...in the Nexus. There was probably a question involved. I don't remember the details at the moment. As for the sheep...would you be attempting patricide again?" She smirks.

"I'm not entirely certain who they are, no, sorry. And I'd like that very much. As for two nights ago, depending on the particular part of the night you mean, I was either in the Nexus or at home. There are witnesses either way. I swear it wasn't me, officer!" she teases. "It must have been some other redhead."

"Talking to my father a bit more, apparently one of the men has killed coppers." He looks grim for a moment, then smiles. "And I'm sure it was someone else. Ali couldn't be bad."

She grins. "Right, I'm always a good girl. I seem to recall that you decided to arrest your dad instead."

"Yeah." He grins in amusement.
