As promised to Myth group!
I took very few photos this year, a short enough list that I can save you some time by telling you what's where in my Picasa albums:
On Friday night in the Marriott, I took photos of the Greek Mythology photoshoot, Wonder Woman and her friend from the "God of War" game, one quick shot of a tall-and-gorgeous Han Solo and Leia Organa (from Empire in particular) couple as they headed away to join their Indiana Jones friends, Thor and Hercules from the Avengers with Spiderman as the object of their shenanigans, the Sorceress of Greyskull (omg wow!), one overhead shot of a Red Fairy, one Wolverine picture that I did a lousy job taking (is that Black Canary talking to him?), and three pictures I can't identify. (But I know what I like when I see it!) Two are of mechas with wings and tires, might be Transformers? Shiva Sisters from FFXIII, identified by gypsywitch in comments, thank you so much! One is of a lady in black, high heels, a black domino-style mask, chatting with a lady in a grey dress.
Saturday was even shorter for me. In the Marriott around the end of the parade, I saw some good guys from the Masters of the Universe, and had time for one picture before I had to keep shuffling. In the Westin, I saw the wonderful gentleman stumping for the Palin/Voldemort ticket, got a great photo of my fellow Alt History door guard Jen having a siesta, and two reference photos of wookieegunner as Sallah Mohammed Faisel el-Kahir.
Sunday was almost camera-free. You might be interested in Lady Gaga in Bubbles, or a couple of lousy no-flash photos of a glowing steampunk spine, taken outside the Time Travelers' and Pirates' Ball. Oh, and I have three reference photos of the ballroom, for future gaming purposes.
Meanwhile, I actually had MY picture taken a few times this year, which is unexpected! I'm looking for pictures of a woman with a brown cane. The cane has an autumn-themed pillow attached to it, because it can fold down into a sort of chair. I wore green and copper on Saturday, and a lot of khaki on Sunday, and on Sunday I also had a red parasol with leaves glued to it. Does this sound familiar to anyone?
