It's been a long time.
So, this Sept is 9 years I've not attended.
I miss it, and I have dreams about it. With that said, I'm not sorry I left behind price spiking and silliness. The fun went out of it for me when, all of a sudden, Cosplay was the vogue. It used to be cool to come out of the closet once a year and do my stuff, initially nervous as hell or not.
I know there was a small comeback when it re-opened. I miss the hotels and the art exhibit, the drum circle etc. I don't miss not being able to move.
So, I suppose I'm asking, how is it now?
